i actually really miss karolsen…….and it’s not like i actively shipped them very hard as season 1 was coming out but they were enjoyable and compelling to watch bc you could tell how much they…..idk…..liked each other lmao??? and that mutual affection for each other wasn’t to the detriment of any sexual or romantic tension bc they definitely had that too? i feel like the new supergirl writers think that compelling romance = jumping from hatred to “love” but still bringing all the argumentative inflammatory bullshit from when they hated each other into the relationship for god knows why smh
